Upturn agency, formally known as Driv Trafikk AS, works with development of WooCommerce stores
In my second semester, I was allowed an elective course. I was the only student who received an internship and was therefore alone in the elected course. I started in Upturn Agency as an intern. After a month when the course was finished I was offered a fulltime job as a junior consultant. As a Junior consultant, I primarily work on developing new WooCommerce stores and plugins. I also work with customer service for our existing customers by adding new functionality and resolving bugs.

Servebolt AS is a hosting company based in Norway and the Netherlands
Based on my experience in Upturn Agency, I was asked to contribute with sales and service at Servebolt, which is a sister company of Upturn Agency. This includes primarily customer service for our hosting clients. The tasks can vary from simple questions about our servers to more extensive work with moving large sites with minimal down time.

YME Store AS is a high-end streetwear store located in Oslo, Norway
I moved to Oslo to start studying in august 2016. I immediately started working as a sales associate in YME men’s department. After the floor manager was let go I was asked to step in temporarily as floor manager given that I was already familiar with the responsibilities and Front Systems. As a temporary floor manager, I had employee responsibility, including hiring new staff members budgeting, ordering new collections and maintaining the store.

Floor manager - men’s department
After my time as head of e-commerce, I started as floor manager in one of Bogart’s two men’s departments. I oversaw staff logistics, including performance and environment. My main task as a floor manager was managing the daily operations, taking into consideration margins and environment, as well as budgets and economic goals for the business. I attended weekly meetings where key performance indicators, budget, concept and weekly/monthly goals where discussed between the floor managers.
Head of E-Commerce
I worked as the head of E-commerce during the release of our online focus, which went live in June 2015. For the preparatory work, I was focused on establishing the correct and best functionality for the site, alongside providing product-pictures and content. After the site was launched the focus was shifted towards maintenance and order processing. This included adding new products, content while packing and sending orders.

I worked as a sales associate from June 2013 to April 2015 while attending High School. During my time, sales and customer service was my main responsibilities. The nature of the work itself also required me to gain relevant knowledge towards areas of expertise. I was also appointed responsible for receiving goods and the logistics regarding inventory.
